Introduction
Welcome to Catherine’s Web Page. This web page is dedicated to the survival of Catherine and to all those experiencing the birth of a preterm baby. The contents of this Web Page will change as Catherine progresses. Please check back occasionally to witness Catherine’s progress. Summary Christine was diagnosed with very little amniotic fluid at
18 weeks. The doctor’s could not
confirm that she had ruptured so she was diagnosed with a damaged placenta
causing the oligohydramnios (low fluid).
At 25 weeks, some dark red bleeding began so we went to the hospital
were she would stay on complete bed rest for the next two weeks. At 27 weeks, Christine began to dilate and
so delivery was inevitable. On Special Thanks
To all those praying for us and for the support of Family and Friends. We could not have made it this far without you. |
